Adoption

We adopt to the states of NE, CO, IA, MO, KS, SD, WY and MN. We are located and operate out of Omaha, Nebraska. Please note that Nebraska Boston Terrier/French Bulldog Rescue does not have a facility that can be visited. All our dogs live with a family in their home until they are adopted. The first step to adopting a rescue dog is completing an adoption application.

If there are no dogs currently listed meet your wants we urge you to go ahead and complete the adoption application to get your name on file. Dogs arrive into our program almost weekly. Applicants on file are considered first. Each application is carefully reviewed to determine which Boston terrier/French BulldogĀ  in foster care would best fit your life style. If there is a Boston terrier/French Bulldog that fits then you will be contacted you for a phone interview and to schedule a home visit. The purpose of a home visit is to meet the prospective adopters and to evaluate the appropriateness and safety of the home that will be provided for the new dog. The dog chosen for your family will also attend the home visit if convenient. Each adoption consists of an adoption contract and an adoption fee. The adoption fees for Boston terriers vary between $250-700 and for French Bulldogs $500-1400. This is based on the age (puppies are more than senior dogs), health and condition of the dog. All vetting has been done and is included in the adoption fee. This adoption fee helps cover vet expenses incurred by NBTFBR.

NBTR requires a completely fenced in area in order to qualify for adoption.
